Maintenance and Resurfacing Works on M25 and Dartford Crossing
A programme of maintenance and resurfacing works will affect parts of the M25 and the Dartford Crossing from Friday, January 9 to Monday, January 12. This includes tunnels, junction slip roads, and the QEII Bridge.
The Dartford Crossing connects Kent and Essex. It includes the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge and two tunnels. It is one of the busiest roads in the country.
National Highways has urged motorists to check live travel updates, follow diversion routes, and allow extra time for their journeys.

Vehicles taller than 4.8 metres will not be able to use the crossing during this time. All closures are for planned maintenance and resurfacing work.
