NEO-Nazi Jack Renshaw Attacked in Prison

A NEO-Nazi who plotted to kill a politician has been disfigured at the jail where Lostprophets member Ian Watkins was murdered.

White supremacist Jack Renshaw, 30, is serving a life sentence for his plan to kill former Labour MP Rosie Cooper. He was attacked outside his cell at HMP Wakefield.

Renshaw was targeted by a fellow inmate over his far-right views. The attacker used a makeshift weapon, leaving Renshaw screaming in pain.

Details of the Attack

Justice officials are investigating Iain Ochieng, 32, for the violent assault at the West Yorkshire jail. A source stated, “This was a vicious and pre-planned attack and Renshaw was lucky to survive. He was slashed with a makeshift ‘shank’ knife and left with a gaping wound running the length of his face.”

“There was blood everywhere. Guards rushed to the scene and stopped it from being worse than it was — but it was already pretty bad.”

Background on Jack Renshaw

Renshaw, from Skelmersdale, Lancs, was sentenced to life in prison in 2019 with a minimum term of 20 years after admitting to preparing an act of terrorism. His trial revealed he wanted to “replicate” the murder of Labour politician Jo Cox in 2016.

He made a Nazi salute towards supporters as he was led from the dock to his cell.

Timeline of Events

The attack occurred on December 9, two months after Ian Watkins, 48, was killed. Watkins was stabbed in the neck on October 11.

Two inmates, Rashid Gedel, 25, and Samuel Dodsworth, 43, have been charged with the murder of the Lostprophets singer.
