Two teens died in Sittingbourne when their car veered into a freezing river; a third passenger remains hospitalized
Teenagers Die in Kent Car Crash
The first photo of one of the teenagers killed in a car crash has been released. The crash involved a Ford Fiesta that swerved off a road in Kent and landed in an ice-cold river.
On January 3, a blue car carrying 16-year-old Chloe Naylor and 17-year-old Adam crashed into the water off Old Ferry Road near Sittingbourne, Kent. Both Chloe and Adam died in the crash. A third passenger, a 16-year-old girl whose name has not been released, is still in the hospital.
A GoFundMe has been set up for Chloe’s funeral by her mother’s best friend. The friend wrote, “Chloe was just 16 years old. Donna would like to have a horse and carriage at Chloe’s funeral so Chloe can go as a princess.”
Adam, the second victim, also has a fundraiser started to help pay for his funeral. A family friend wrote, “Adam was a very special friend, and our boys are absolutely devastated by this heartbreaking loss. Adam was always smiling and full of life. His loss has left a huge hole in everyone who knew him, especially Adam’s parents.”
They added, “We have created this GoFundMe page to help support Adam’s family with funeral costs—something no family should ever have to face. Any donation, no matter how small, would be greatly appreciated and would help ease the burden on Adam’s family during this incredibly difficult time.”
