Three teen girls jailed for killing Anthony Marks, 51, near London’s King’s Cross Station after beating him with a gin bottle and car bonnet
Teen Girls Jailed for Killing a Man
Three teen girls who filmed themselves dancing after chasing down and beating a man to death with a gin bottle have been sentenced.
Anthony Marks, 51, was struck with a car bonnet and killed near London’s King’s Cross Station.
Footage showed the two teen killers dancing after the attack.
The girls also took selfies before and after the incident.
Details of the Attack
Anthony Marks was killed with a gin bottle. The attackers, Jaidee Bingham, 16, Eymaiyah Lee Bradshaw-McKoy, 16, and Mia Campos-Jorge, 17, posed for selfies during the incident.
Two of the teens filmed themselves singing and dancing in the back of a car after Anthony’s death.
Police used the footage, pictures, and messages shared among the trio to track their movements that night.
Sentencing and Background
The killers, now aged 18 and 19, received a total of 23 years in prison after being found guilty of Anthony’s death.
The court heard that Bingham, Bradshaw-McKoy, and Campos-Jorge were working for a county lines drug gang at the time.
On August 9, Bingham was tasked with finding a robber who had stolen drugs from one of the girls.
They believed Anthony knew about the robbery and confronted him at 5 a.m. in Central London.
Details of the Confrontation
After an argument, Bingham and Bradshaw-McKoy chased Anthony for over a mile, with one girl holding a car bumper.
Anthony was repeatedly kicked and hit over the head with a glass bottle.
CCTV audio captured voices shouting: “Hit him again. Kick him. Do it again. Have you learned your lesson yet?”
The attackers fled when a member of the public chased them off with a cricket bat.
Investigation and Verdict
Police found Anthony covered in blood at King’s Cross Station later that morning and interviewed him before he died.
Officers tracked down the killers using CCTV and examined their mobile phones to piece together the attack.
Bingham was sentenced to 16 years for murder, while Bradshaw-McKoy and Campos-Jorge received three years and six months for manslaughter.
Official Statement
Detective Inspector Jim Barry, of the Met’s Specialist Crime North, led the investigation. He stated, “This is a particularly callous murder that gives an insight into the ruthless brutality of county lines gangs.”
He added, “The ages of Bingham, Bradshaw-McKoy, and Campos-Jorge are particularly shocking. But their age does not excuse their violent actions.”
Barry emphasized the importance of justice for victims and the commitment of the Met to combat criminal gangs.
