The mother was walking with her children in Leicester on September 5 at around 6:30 PM when a dog approached them off its lead. Leicestershire Police stated that the dog owner pulled the dog back and ran from the scene towards Samson Road.

A spokesperson for the police said, “Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to after a young family was attacked by a dog in Leicester.”

They added, “The incident happened sometime between 6:30 PM and 6:50 PM on Friday, September 5, in Stephenson Drive.”

The spokesperson continued, “A woman was walking with her young child and her baby in a pushchair when she was approached by a dog. The dog, off its lead, jumped up and scratched her back before jumping up at the pushchair, knocking it and the woman over.”
