Police officers on patrol found a pedestrian injured after a vehicle failed to stop following a crash.
The incident occurred at 10:09 AM today, January 13.
The woman received treatment from the London Ambulance Service and was taken to the hospital. Her injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated, “Police on patrol on Sydenham Lane, Lewisham discovered a pedestrian with injuries to her leg after a collision with a vehicle that failed to stop at 10:09 AM on Tuesday, 13 January.”
The spokesperson added, “The pedestrian, a woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where her injuries were deemed not life-threatening or life-changing.”
They also mentioned, “No arrests have been made. Anyone with information or dashcam footage that could help police should call 101 quoting CAD 2095/13Jan.”
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said, “We were called at 10:04 AM today, January 13, to reports of a road traffic collision on Sydenham Road, SE26.”
They continued, “We sent resources including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer.”
They treated a woman at the scene and took her to a major trauma center as a priority.
